Epicor Prophet 21 ERP Customer / Item Data Merge

Epicor Prophet 21® Wholesale Distribution Software - Item & Customer Information Data Merge Project for P21 System Users

Our Merge tool project takes in a file from the user that will merge bad item data into the good items. There is also a customer data merge tool version of this project which works in the exact same way, just with customer information instead of item information.

 

  • If any invalid item ids are found in the Bad or Good item columns, they will be highlighted in red.

The dates can be changed which will affect when the merge will be fully processed by the background job.

 

Once the “Process Merge” button is clicked, the user or manager will go to the Item Merge Approval screen.

Where the user/manager can verify that the merge was set up correctly. If the schedule date for the merge needs to be changed, it can be. Once everything looks good, the user will click on approved and click on save.

 

  • If the batch is no longer needed, it can be deleted with the delete button.

  • All changes, including deletes will be saved when the SAVE button is clicked.

  • Once the batch is approved it will be picked up by the background job on it’s scheduled date.

  • All processed merges can be reviewed in Merge history.
